Commissioned Paintings

Excited to announce that I will be able to accommodate a limited number (2-4) commissioned paintings between now and the Winter Holidays (yes, indeed, thinking about that now). Commissions usually take time, and I want to make sure I have enough of it to complete a piece to your requirements.

So - here is how it works:

• The themes of my art content are around water (usually the ocean), or storms;

• For the commissioned piece we could use my reference images (I have thousands); or yours. If you have a few special shots or places in mind, that’ll work too!

• The artistic styling of my works is semi-abstracted, thick paint, limited colour-pallet, emotive imagery that, according to my collectors, look very recognizable and realistic.

• From start to completion it may take 2-10 weeks, depending on circumstances, urgency and complexity of the piece.

• We chat & agree on what we’re co-creating; we pick an image, size, canvas or wood, etc.;

• 40% of estimated value placed as deposit;

• I send you updates throughout the progress; receive your approval;

• We hand-over or ship the completed piece & remit the balance;

• DONE! You own the signed & authenticated piece; no reproductions are made from the commissioned works.
